My entire life, I viewed myself as a leader. I always did what I wanted, and people followed. I owned some very successful businesses, and had many employees that I lead to success. It wasn’t until I found the network marketing industry that I realized that in order to be a true leader and create wealth, you must first be a follower. Let me explain….
Every leader follows other leaders. Every leader has a mentor. Even the most successful business men and women have mentors and leaders that they look up to, whether it be by reading their books or attending some kind if seminar or personal development conference.
At our live conference in Vegas 2 weeks ago, the awesome Jeffrey Combs spoke about his mentor, Jim Rohn. Jeff makes millions of dollars through his mastermind program, and gets paid very well to speak at live events. He said he attends every Jim Rohn seminar he possibly can, because you must constantly continue to develop yourself.
It’s actually a simple concept. If millionaires have mentors, then you must have mentors to become a millionaire.
Remember, leaders are developed, not born.
