Our Story
Justin Woolf
As far back as I could remember, I knew I was meant to do something different. I was never able to see myself working for “Corporate America” or taking orders from a boss who just doesn’t get this thing called life. When I was younger, sports played a major role in my life. I realized that I could perform under pressure and welcomed challenges that life had presented to me. I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2000 and was reluctant to get a dead end job in “Corporate America”. So I continued to work at the job I had in college as a carpenter. I was making good money but working 85 hours a week. I couldn’t take it anymore. After two long years of 80 hour work weeks, a college friend, Anthony Busciglio, asked me to work with him in the mortgage business. Shortly after our conversation, I decided to start my new career. We began our path to success in the mortgage business with a New York City based company. We were commuting everyday from New Jersey committed to the daily grind.
After about two years of working in New York City, we had enough. We decided to open our own office closer to home. At first, the real estate business was booming. We were young, successful entrepreneurs with a thriving business. We had over 40 employees working for us and life couldn’t be better. We were still putting in a lot of time, but the success we achieved took the pain away from the time that we committed. Next thing you know it all started to fall apart. In the middle of 2007, the mortgage business started to crumble. The real estate and the mortgage banking industry got hit the hardest and was the first sector to deteriorate in the face of a recession. Life as I knew it was disappearing. I created a comfortable life for myself and was unable to keep up with it. I felt like my back was up against the wall, facing bankruptcy and foreclosure. In this time of uncertainty, most people would be overwhelmed or feeling depressed about their circumstances. I saw it differently. I decided that this was my opportunity to live the life I have always wanted to live. I was eager and committed to working from home and have all the time in the world to simply do what I want to do. Anthony and I decided to close down the mortgage business, hold on to what was left of our assets. We immediately began to embark on our mission to recreate our financial futures in the home based business industry……
Anthony Busciglio
Upon graduating from Ramapo College in 2000, I ventured into the restaurant business, working 80 hours a week for two years. It was tough and challenging not having a break. Eventually, I became burnt-out from working late nights and decided a change was needed. My career began in the mortgage business. By age 26, I was now the proud owner of a mortgage company with a few friends. At one point, we had over 40 employees working for the company. By 2007, the mortgage industry began to collapse. I then borrowed 200k to open a franchise of a private jet charter company in order to diversify our income streams. The private jet industry consisted of private jet charters for professional athletes, celebrities, and high level executives. I worked as hard as I could, treading water, trying to survive. Soon enough, the private jet industry got hit by the recession about 12 months after the mortgage industry. The expenses of operating a typical business such as: payroll tax, rent, insurance and overhead became too much to handle in this market. It was time for change.
I had just gotten married and soon had a baby on the way. From the moment my son was born, I knew that I would have to make a serious change in my career if I wanted to spend time with him. I realized if I continued to work 70-80 hours a week, it wouldn’t be long before I missed my son’s baseball games, daily rides to and from school and not to mention the little things like cooking breakfast for the family in the morning. This prompted me to re-examine my life. Between the long hours I was working and the quality time I wasn’t spending with my family, I decided to throw in the towel and become a home business professional……
Our Progress
So there we were. We left everything we knew and embarked on a journey to create a lifestyle for our families where we can simply do what we want to do. Failure was not an option. At first, we decided to sink our teeth in the multi level marketing industry. As most of you know, the mlm industry has an enormous failure rate. We built a few mlm businesses and watched them stop growing faster than we built them. We realized our friends and family members were not entrepreneurs or network marketers. Distributors were leaving the mlm companies we had built with the hopes of finding some “magical” position at the top of the pyramid. We began to realize that we were getting caught in the same trap with each opportunity. The mlm industry was going to allow us to achieve the level of success we were looking for and decided to look elsewhere.
As we were online looking for the answer, we came across the infamous “Coffee House Letter“. This was the game changer for us. I spoke to a friend of mine who is a 7 figure earner in the industry and he told me “you have develop a skill, create results, become an expert and then brand yourself and help others the correct way.” The path to success was clearly defined. Since April 2009 when we read the letter, we have developed skills that have placed us 15-20 years ahead of the average entrepreneur and built a successful online business from home. A major contributing factor to our success was from those who took the time to mentor us along the way. We are committed to helping others achieve the same level of success.
